Famous quotes containing the words virgin and/or steele:

This is the month, and this the happy morn,
Wherein the Son of heav’n’s eternal King,
Of wedded Maid and Virgin Mother born,
Our great redemption from above did bring.
    John Milton (1608–1674)

I have often observed, there is not a Man breathing who does not differ from all other Men, as much in the Sentiments of his Mind, as the Features of his Face.
    —Richard Steele (1672–1729)
