Tokunoshima

Tokunoshima (徳之島?, Amami: とゥクヌシマ Tukunushima) is an island in the Amami Islands of southwestern Japan. Administratively it belongs to Kagoshima Prefecture. Three towns are located on the island: Tokunoshima, Isen, and Amagi. It is about halfway between Kagoshima on the southern end of Kyūshū and Okinawa's main island.
