Famous quotes containing the words lamb and/or lies:
“Mo Williams: Some people peddle apples, lamb chops, lumber. I peddle information. Skip aint sorry; he understands. We live in a different kind of world. Oh, once in a while he gets a little hot under the collar if I sell him short.
Candy: But you wouldnt sell him to a Commie!
Mo Williams: What do you think I am, an informer?!”
—Samuel Fuller (b. 1911)
“It is given to few to add the store of knowledge, to strike new springs of thought, or to shape new forms of beauty. But so sure as it is that men live not by bread, but by ideas, so sure is it that the future of the world lies in the hands of those who are able to carry the interpretation of nature a step further than their predecessors.”
—Thomas Henry Huxley (182595)
