Level of Service in Australia
In Australia levels of service are an integral component of Asset Management Plans. In that context they can be defined as the service quality for a given activity. Levels of service are often documented as a commitment to carryout a given action or actions within a specified time frame in response to an event or asset condition data.
Refer Austroads Guide to Traffic Engineering Practice Part 2 for a good explanation.

Famous quotes containing the words level of, level, service and/or australia:
“Young children learn in a different manner from that of older children and adults, yet we can teach them many things if we adapt our materials and mode of instruction to their level of ability. But we miseducate young children when we assume that their learning abilities are comparable to those of older children and that they can be taught with materials and with the same instructional procedures appropriate to school-age children.”
—David Elkind (20th century)
“One of the peculiar sins of the twentieth century which weve developed to a very high level is the sin of credulity. It has been said that when human beings stop believing in God they believe in nothing. The truth is much worse: they believe in anything.”
—Malcolm Muggeridge (19031990)
“Let not the tie be mercenary, though the service is measured in money. Make yourself necessary to somebody. Do not make life hard to any.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“I like Australia less and less. The hateful newness, the democratic conceit, every man a little pope of perfection.”
—D.H. (David Herbert)
