Harmsworth Park - Structure and Facilities

Structure and Facilities

The ground has two seated stands, together able to hold 433 spectators. New black and white seats were added to the main stand, replacing the old blue seats which had come from Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow when it was last renovated. The floodlights that came from Inverness Thistle's Kingsmills ground were replaced to a higher standard during the ground's renovation in 2011, along with a new medical facility for first-aid treatment. During the SFA review the stands were also passed as structurally sound.

Famous quotes containing the words structure and, structure and/or facilities:

Science is intimately integrated with the whole social structure and cultural tradition. They mutually support one other—only in certain types of society can science flourish, and conversely without a continuous and healthy development and application of science such a society cannot function properly.
    Talcott Parsons (1902–1979)

Agnosticism is a perfectly respectable and tenable philosophical position; it is not dogmatic and makes no pronouncements about the ultimate truths of the universe. It remains open to evidence and persuasion; lacking faith, it nevertheless does not deride faith. Atheism, on the other hand, is as unyielding and dogmatic about religious belief as true believers are about heathens. It tries to use reason to demolish a structure that is not built upon reason.
    Sydney J. Harris (1917–1986)

I have always found that when men have exhausted their own resources, they fall back on “the intentions of the Creator.” But their platitudes have ceased to have any influence with those women who believe they have the same facilities for communication with the Divine mind as men have.
    Elizabeth Cady Stanton (1815–1902)
