Operation
Trains run every 4~5 minutes during rush hours & every 7~8 minutes during off peak hours. On weekdays trains run 345 times and 277 times on weekends and holidays. Before the Wangsimni extension trains only came once every 14 minutes during off peak hours.
While rapid services are unavailable, all northbound trains terminate at Wangsimni. Half of the southbound services is for Giheung, and another half for Jukjeon.
