AgustaWestland
AgustaWestland NV is an Anglo-Italian helicopter design and manufacturing company. It was formed in July 2000 when the Italy-based Finmeccanica S.p.A. and the United Kingdom-based GKN plc agreed to merge their respective helicopter subsidiaries (Agusta and Westland Helicopters) to form AgustaWestland, with each holding a 50% share. AgustaWestland became a wholly owned subsidiary of Finmeccanica in 2004.
