Zygaena loti is a member of the Zygaenidae family. It is found in most of Europe, except Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Fennoscandia, Denmark, Estonia and Latvia.
The wingspan is 25-35 mm. Adults are on wing in June and July.
The larvae feed on Lotus corniculatus, Hippocrepis comosa and Securigera species.
