Players include Jamie Charman, Daniel Pratt, Robert Copeland, Josh Drummond, Ben Warren, Brendan Whitecross, Marcus Allan, Daniel Dzufer, Mitchell Hahn and Brett Backwell.

In October 2008, AFLQ transferred the licence from Zillmere Eagles to neighbouring Aspley as part of an independent review which looked into the best long term option for Australian football in North Brisbane.

... the history of the race, from infancy through its stages of barbarism, heathenism, civilization, and Christianity, is a process of suffering, as the lower principles of humanity are gradually subjected to the higher.
    Catherine E. Beecher (1800–1878)
