Security Issues

Starting in the 1990s, the United Liberation Front of Asom maintained guerrilla bases in the forests of southern Zhemgang from which they would launch attacks on targets in India and then return across the border. Because of the risk of attack, foreign tourists are not yet allowed to visit Zhemgang.

Famous quotes containing the words security and/or issues:

If we could have any security against moods! If the profoundest prophet could be holden to his words, and the hearer who is ready to sell all and join the crusade, could have any certificate that to-morrow his prophet shall not unsay his testimony!
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

I can never bring you to realize the importance of sleeves, the suggestiveness of thumb-nails, or the great issues that may hang from a boot-lace.
