Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park
Zhangjiang High-Tech (simplified Chinese: 张江高科; traditional Chinese: 張江高科; pinyin: Zhāngjiāng Gāokē) is a technology park in Pudong, Shanghai. It is operated by Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development Co., Ltd. The park specializes in research in life sciences, software and information technology. As of 2009, there were 110 research and development institutions, 3,600 companies and 100,000 workers located in the technology park. In some circles the park is also known as China's Silicon Valley.
