Fans and Ultras Group
Zamalek is considered one of the most popular teams in Egypt. An Ultras group was formed in 2007 for Zamalek fans and was called "Ultras White Knights" or simply "UWK". They are the first "Ultras" groups in Egypt and are also the first to use choreography in support of their team. In 2012, Al-Ahly and Zamalek Ultras opposed the FA's decision to resume the League tournament, and made this clear by staging dozens of protests.
