Youssef Darbaki - Philosophy of The Game

Philosophy of The Game

Youssef believes that the education of the Youth Programs and the In-House Programs are very important, and that the structure of club philosophy is important also. The Brazilian and European style of play is important to the kids. Creating a family environment for all of the players and parents matters too. Working hand to hand with coaching directors to create a certain platform for the whole club's style, making all ages of one football club play the same style. Communication with all the coaches and team managers is very important. Creating a curriculum that fits the clubs style of play helps with coaching. He believes bringing all of the ethnic groups to the club to get a variety of style is good. He also thinks it is important to be able to talk to them through communicating to them in their own language, so, he is fluent in Spanish, French, Arabic, English, Portuguese, and Italian.

Famous quotes containing the words philosophy and/or game:

My position is a naturalistic one; I see philosophy not as an a priori propaedeutic or groundwork for science, but as continuous with science. I see philosophy and science as in the same boat—a boat which, to revert to Neurath’s figure as I so often do, we can rebuild only at sea while staying afloat in it. There is no external vantage point, no first philosophy.
Willard Van Orman Quine (b. 1908)

The family environment in which your children are growing up is different from that in which you grew up. The decisions our parents made and the strategies they used were developed in a different context from what we face today, even if the “content” of the problem is the same. It is a mistake to think that our own experience as children and adolescents will give us all we need to help our children. The rules of the game have changed.
    Lawrence Kutner (20th century)
