Young Muslims Canada is an Islamic organization working among the Muslim youth of Canada. Formed in 1994, Young Muslims Canada is one of the largest Muslim youth groups in Canada.
Young Muslims Canada offers inclusive educational, developmental, and recreational activities for Muslim youth to address their spiritual, social, educational, and civic engagement needs. Through their programs and activities Young Muslims Canada wants to nurture God-conscious Muslim youth who are outstanding contributors to Canadian society.
The organization has its roots originally in the global Islamic movement that takes its ideology from Sayyid Abul Ala Maududi, Hassan al Banna, Sayyid Qutb, Khurram Murad, Yusuf al-Qaradawi and others. Young Muslims Canada aims to instil hope, self-esteem, confidence, and civic responsibility in Muslim youth by embracing the Islamic values of integrity, excellence, and compassion.
