In Other Media
On November 26, 2010, the Young Justice animated television series pilot aired on Cartoon Network (in the United States), featuring teenage superhero sidekicks who are members of a fictional covert operation "B-Team" under the authority of the fully fledged members of the Justice League, intended to deal with situations where the Justice League could not take action due to their more visible nature. Warner Brothers has announced that they are producing 20 more episodes which will constitute Season 2 and be released in 2012. Despite its title, the show is not an adaptation of the Young Justice series of comics, but rather, an adaptation of the entire DC Universe with a focus on young superheroes. The television series is based on a concept of a cross between Teen Titans and Young Justice (not an adaptation of solely one or the other), drawing influences from the 1960s Teen Titans run and the 1990s Young Justice run, in addition to the recent Teen Titans and Young Justice comics. The line-up reflects the variety of sources on which the show is based: The team includes a version of Superboy, the Dick Grayson incarnation of Robin, the Wally West incarnation of Kid Flash, Miss Martian, Artemis, and a newly created version of Aqualad, later in the fist season they also introduced members Zatanna and Rocket (comics) . Other members have been added at the start of Season 2, such as Tim Drake as Robin, Wonder Girl, Lagoon Boy, Batgirl, Mal Duncan, Beast Boy, Bumblebee, Impulse and Blue Beetle.

“The media transforms the great silence of things into its opposite. Formerly constituting a secret, the real now talks constantly. News reports, information, statistics, and surveys are everywhere.”
