Young Eagles - International Young Eagles

International Young Eagles

At EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2011, they unveiled a new program called "International Young Eagles Day," a day set aside to encourage all EAA members and Chapters to participate that is held on the second Saturday of June annually.

In Canada the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association participated in the Young Eagles program between 1992 and 2008. COPA members have flown more than 81,000 Young Eagles. COPA participation was ended on May 31, 2008 due to insurance concerns.

Famous quotes containing the word young:

My mother dandled me and sang,
“How young it is, how young!”
    And made a golden cradle
    That on a willow swung.
“He went away,” my mother sang,
“When I was brought to bed....”
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
