Location and Hours
The Electronics Market is located on Subway line 1, at Yongsan Station. One should walk through the train station to enter through the Terminal Shopping Center or walk around the station at ground level to enter the market. The major stores are open from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, while many smaller stores keep a variety of hours. Most stores in the area are closed on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month. The department stores and many shops in Seoul are closed on Mondays
This area is very big, and has major bargains for all kinds of electronics. Take the subway to Yongsan metro station. You can also take the subway line to Sinyongsan station. Yongsan Station is located above, and Sinyongsan Station is located below ground. There are many signs pointing to the electronics mart, but they are all in Korean. To get to the electronics mart, look for one of the yellow signs with the phrase 전자 상가 (jeon ja sang ga, "Electronics Mart"). It will direct you to a pedestrian skyway that enters the Terminal Electronics Mart (터미널 전자 상가) on the third floor. If in doubt, follow the crowd, most people are going to or coming from the mart.
The electronics mart is not a single entity, but a large complex of thousands of independent shops. There is an outdoor flea market in the area on the first and third Sunday of the month, when things are even cheaper. The shops open around 11 AM. Be warned, the area is not that easy to navigate through.

Famous quotes containing the word hours:
“The change from storm and winter to serene and mild weather, from dark and sluggish hours to bright and elastic ones, is a memorable crisis which all things proclaim. It is seemingly instantaneous at last.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
