There is a Student Council, and a group of CCA Leaders and Monitors board, formerly known as the Honorary Student Council, now it is also known as Leopards.There is also a group of Secondary 2 leaders board called Aspiring Leaders. Yishun Town Secondary School takes pride in nurturing potential leaders from the school . As the school vision is A school of distinction, a community of leaders.
