Yesterday's Wirral

Yesterday's Wirral is the title of a series of books on the history of the Wirral Peninsula. There are 10 of these books, and include most areas of the Wirral, such as Heswall, Neston, Birkenhead and Bebington. The author is Ian Boumphrey, who is an alumnus of Birkenhead School.

The books are made up of a combination of photographs and descriptive text. The books are available across the Wirral, in bookshops such as WH Smiths & Waterstones.
