Yeshiva Pachad Yitzchok

Yeshiva Pachad Yitzchok is a yeshiva that was established in Jerusalem, Israel in the late 1970s by Rabbi Yitzchok Hutner. It is located in the Har Nof neighborhood. Rabbi Hutner had previously been the long-standing Rosh yeshiva of Yeshiva Rabbi Chaim Berlin and Kollel Gur Aryeh in Brooklyn, New York City.

Upon the passing of Rabbi Hutner in 1980, leadership of the yeshiva passed to his son-in-law, Rabbi Yonasan David who then became its sole rosh yeshiva. Rabbi David is married to Rabbi Hutner's only daughter Rebbetzin Dr. Bruria Hutner David.

The name Pachad Yitzchok means "fear of Isaac" and is derived from a verse in Genesis and is used as an allusion to God. It was chosen to honor Rabbi Hutner's ten volume work on Jewish thought and philosophy that is also known as Sefer Pachad Yitzchok. The name "Yitzchok" is "Isaac" in Hebrew.
