Secret Terms in The US-Yemeni Repatriation Negotiations

An article published in the Yemen Post on November 13, 2012, reported on secret terms in the US-Yemeni repatriation negotiations. Yemen recently had a change in administration. Famous quotes containing the words secret, terms and/or negotiations:

    My solitaria
Are the meditations of a central mind.
I hear the motions of the spirit and the sound
Of what is secret becomes, for me, a voice
That is my own voice speaking in my ear.
    Wallace Stevens (1879–1955)

It must be a peace without victory.... Victory would mean peace forced upon the losers, a victor’s terms imposed upon the vanquished. It would be accepted in humiliation, under duress, at an intolerable sacrifice, and would leave a sting, a resentment, a bitter memory upon which the terms of peace would rest, not permanently, but only as upon quicksand.
    Woodrow Wilson (1856–1924)

But always and sometimes questioning the old modes
And the new wondering, the poem, growing up through the floor,
Standing tall in tubers, invading and smashing the ritual
Parlor, demands to be met on its own terms now,
Now that the preliminary negotiations are at last over.
    John Ashbery (b. 1927)
