Famous quotes containing the words yellow, ribbon and/or project:

    down the sidewalk
    where laborers feed their dirty
    glistening torsos sandwiches
    and Coca-Cola, with yellow helmets
on. They protect them from falling
    bricks, I guess.
    Frank O’Hara (1926–1966)

    perpetually crouched, quivering, upon the
    sternly allotted sandpile
    Mhow silently
emit a tiny violet flavoured nuisance: Odor?

    o no.
comes out like a ribbon lies flat on the brush
    —E.E. (Edward Estlin)

For the lawyer, oratory was the escalator that could lift a political candidate to higher ground.
—Federal Writers’ Project Of The Wor, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
