Yazd County (Persian: شهرستان یزد) is a county in Yazd Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Yazd. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 515,044, in 138,108 families. The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Zarach District. The county has four cities: Yazd, Zarach, Shahediyeh, and Hamidiya.
