The Yaqui Sucker (Catostomus bernardini) is a species of ray-finned fish in the Catostomidae family. It is found in Mexico and the United States. The Catostomus bernardini or Yaqui Sucker belongs to the family Catostomidae, and it is one of nine other fish in this genus endemic to Arizona. The Yaqui Sucker could possibly be a subspecies of the Gila Sucker, and it is definitely a relative of the Sonora Sucker.

Famous quotes containing the word sucker:
“As artists theyre rot, but as providers theyre oil wells; they gush. Norris said she never wrote a story unless it was fun to do. I understand Ferber whistles at her typewriter. And there was that poor sucker Flaubert rolling around on his floor for three days looking for the right word.”
—Dorothy Parker (18931967)
