Yakov Snyders or Snjders, (1905-1984), was the Chief Rabbi of Basel, Switzerland.
He was born in Győr, Hungary into a rabbinical family. He married before the war and had 11 children, all of whom were killed in the Holocaust. After the war, Rabbi Snyders remarried and had five children.
His successor as Rabbi of Basel was his son Rabbi Benzion Snyders.
