Xoreax Grid Engine - History

History

IncrediBuild v1.0 was introduced in 2002, offering a solution for acceleration of Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 C/C++ code builds. The tool became popular in several software industries, notably the gaming and CAD/CAM industries. In 2004 it was selected as winner in the Game Developer Magazine annual Frontline Awards.

After adding support to Visual Studio .NET and Visual Studio 2005, Xoreax added a new extension package called "XGE Interfaces" to the IncrediBuild product. This package allows acceleration of many processes running on the Windows platform through the Xoreax Grid Engine, IncrediBuild's grid computing engine by exposing a set of interfaces to IncrediBuild's core grid engine technology.

In 2008 IncrediBuild was elected "Productivity Winner" in the 18th annual Jolt Awards.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

It would be naive to think that peace and justice can be achieved easily. No set of rules or study of history will automatically resolve the problems.... However, with faith and perseverance,... complex problems in the past have been resolved in our search for justice and peace. They can be resolved in the future, provided, of course, that we can think of five new ways to measure the height of a tall building by using a barometer.
Jimmy Carter (James Earl Carter, Jr.)

In the history of the human mind, these glowing and ruddy fables precede the noonday thoughts of men, as Aurora the sun’s rays. The matutine intellect of the poet, keeping in advance of the glare of philosophy, always dwells in this auroral atmosphere.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)

The principle office of history I take to be this: to prevent virtuous actions from being forgotten, and that evil words and deeds should fear an infamous reputation with posterity.
    Tacitus (c. 55–117)
