Xiongnu
The Xiongnu (Chinese: 匈奴; pinyin: Xiōngnú; Wade–Giles: Hsiung-nu; Middle Chinese Guangyun: ) were ancient nomadic-based people that formed a state or confederation. It extended from the Aral Sea in the west to eastern Mongolia and the Yellow Sea.
