Xinhua Hospital

Xinhua Hospital (simplified Chinese: 新华医院; traditional Chinese: 新華醫院; pinyin: Xīnhuá Yīyuàn) is a general hospital in Shanghai, China, with the rank of "Grade 3, Class A(Chinese: 三级甲等)". The hospital was established in 1958. It is a university hospital affiliated to School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Xinhua Hospital is famous for its pediatrics. Shanghai Institute for Pediatric Research is standing in it. Pediatrics is also a national key discipline. In 1998, it helped to establish Shanghai Children's Medical Center with the support from Project HOPE(Health Opportunities for People Everywhere).
