Transportation

XIS offers optional transportation service to all students who live in most areas of Xiamen. The buses pick up students in the morning and drop off students after school at designated points on a regular basis. Most school buses arrive to the school at between 8:00 to 8:20 A.M. and depart at between 3:25 to 4:45 P.M.. The late bus at 4:45pm is provided for students who participate in after school programs.

Each school bus is equipped with a mobile phone and is supervised by a Bus Monitor. Bus monitors check students as they board/leave the bus and ensure they remain seated during their journey.
