- Xiahou Yuan is featured as a playable character in Koei's Dynasty Warriors and Warriors Orochi video game series. In the games he is portrayed as being a bit hapless, but powerful and loyal nonetheless. Furthermore, he refers to Xiahou Dun as his brother even though they were cousins historically. He at first wields a dao similar to Dun's but later it becomes a metal club.
