Awards and Decorations
On 17 May 1915, Bridges was appointed a Knight Commander of the Order of the Bath. The award was not formally gazetted until 22 May.
A special training section within the Army Recruit Training Centre (Australia) at Kapooka, "Bridges Company", is named in his honour.
