West Corporation operates in two business segments:

• Communication Services
• Unified Communications

Operating under the communication services segment, including automated call processing, agent-based services and emergency communication infrastructure systems, West has the following affiliated companies, with contact center locations in the United States, Jamaica, Mexico and the Philippines:

• West Interactive provides hosted and managed automated customer contact solutions.
• Intrado provides the core of the North American 9-1-1 network with data management, routing, location, call handling and voice delivery services for emergency communications.
• West Business Services provides business-to-business sales and account management solutions.
• West at Home provides home-based customer contact solutions.
• West Customer Management Group provides customer contact and workforce management solutions.
• West Asset Management is an accounts receivable management company.
• West Direct delivers industry-specific solutions designed to sell products and services to consumers responding to mass media advertisements.

The Unified Communications segment includes reservation-less, operator-assisted, Web and video conferencing services; alerts and notifications services; and consulting, project management and implementation of hosted and managed unified communications solutions. West has the following affiliated companies and product lines with operation centers and/or sales and support offices in the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and New Zealand:

• InterCall is the largest service provider (based on conferencing revenue) in the world providing meeting replacement services. These include on-demand automated conferencing services; operator-assisted services for complex audio conferences or large events; Web conferencing services that allow clients to make presentations and share applications and documents over the Internet; video conferencing applications that allow clients to experience real-time video presentations and conferences; and streaming services to connect remote employees and host virtual events. In 2011, InterCall managed more than 121 million conference calls.
• West Notifications Group is a provider of automated alerts and notification solutions.
• TeleVox is a provider of customer and patient engagement communications (EC) services to healthcare and commercial markets.
• West IP Communications provider of cloud-based communication applications and services – including MPLS-based application network management, hosted voice, unified threat management, advanced contact center solutions, unified messaging, collaboration tools and professional services.
