West Bandung Regency (Kabupaten Bandung Barat) West Bandung was established in 2007, formerly it was part of Bandung Regency region of West Java. The capital of this regency is Ngamprah, an industrial district on the west side of Bandung. It is part of the Bandung Metropolitan Area.
According to the 'Results of the Social Survey of the District' ('Hasil Survei Sosial Ekonomi Daerah') in 2007, the population was 1,493,225 .
