A water bottle is a vessel used to hold water or other beverages for consumption. This allows an individual to transport and carry the water from one place to another. A water bottle is usually made of plastic, glass, or metal. In the olden times, water bottles were sometimes made of wood as well. Water bottles can be either disposable or reusable. Reusable water bottles can be used for other liquids such as juice, iced tea, alcoholic beverages or soft drinks.

Famous quotes containing the words water and/or bottle:
“In full view of his television audience, he preached a new religionor a new form of Christianitybased on faith in financial miracles and in a Heaven here on earth with a water slide and luxury hotels. It was a religion of celebrity and showmanship and fun, which made a mockery of all puritanical standards and all canons of good taste. Its standard was excess, and its doctrines were tolerance and freedom from accountability.”
—New Yorker (April 23, 1990)
“A baby nurse is one that changes diapers and loves em dearly. Get up at all hours of the night to give em the bottle and change their pants. If the baby coughs or cries, you have to find out the need. I had my own room usually, but I slept in the same room with the baby. I would take full charge. It was twenty-four hours. I used to have one day a week off and Id go home and see my own two little ones.”
—Ruth Lindstrom (c. 1892?)
