Rivals
Walsall have rivalries with neighbouring Black Country teams, West Bromwich Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers (though these teams are often more concerned with their rivalry against each other, rather than against Walsall), and a slightly further afield rivalry with Shrewsbury Town, which is to many, Walsall's main historical two-way Derby game as the clubs clashed frequently in the 1970s and 80s.
The Saddlers then have less heated, but more 'reciprocal' rivalries against Port Vale, Crewe and Wrexham.
