Source of The Name

The name Carstein comes from the Karnstein Trilogy, a series of Hammer Horror films based loosely on the character of Carmilla Karnstein from the gothic novel Carmilla. The name Carstein is actually used in the film Captain Kronos – Vampire Hunter as the maiden name of the vampiric Lady Durward.
