Visanthe Shiancoe ( /vɪˈʃɔːn ˈʃæŋkoʊ/; born June 18, 1980) is an American football tight end for the New England Patriots of the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for Morgan State, he was drafted by the New York Giants in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He played for the Giants for four seasons from 2003 to 2006 and the Minnesota Vikings for five seasons from 2007 to 2011.
