Virtual Band - The Members of The Virtual Group

The Members of The Virtual Group

The members of virtual groups are animated characters, and, like any other fictitious character, have their own personality, voice, history, and playing style. For example, Alvin, the 'front-munk' of the Chipmunks, is considered mischievous, Ragz Mo' Rocka's, group leader, Grayscale is a genius & DJ, while Murdoc of Gorillaz is a demonic fingered bass player.

The style of animation used for depicting the characters varies. Some groups, like The Archies, Gorillaz, Peepall and Alvin and the Chipmunks, are hand-drawn characters, and much of their media use traditional animation and cartooning techniques. Others, such as Crazy Frog, JuJu Eyeballs, Genki Rockets, and The Bots, are computer-generated. Mistula is distinct from many of their counterparts by being animated using stop motion.

Some people consider puppetry as a form of animation; this consideration means groups like Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem can be considered virtual.

Famous quotes containing the words members, virtual and/or group:

... the theatre demanded of its members stamina, good digestion, the ability to adjust, and a strong sense of humor. There was no discomfort an actor didn’t learn to endure. To survive, we had to be horses and we were.
    Helen Hayes (1900–1993)

Tragedy dramatizes human life as potentiality and fulfillment. Its virtual future, or Destiny, is therefore quite different from that created in comedy. Comic Destiny is Fortune—what the world will bring, and the man will take or miss, encounter or escape; tragic Destiny is what the man brings, and the world will demand of him. That is his Fate.
    Susanne K. Langer (1895–1985)

Now, honestly: if a large group of ... demonstrators blocked the entrances to St. Patrick’s Cathedral every Sunday for years, making it impossible for worshipers to get inside the church without someone escorting them through screaming crowds, wouldn’t some judge rule that those protesters could keep protesting, but behind police lines and out of the doorways?
    Anna Quindlen (b. 1953)
