Virotherapy

Virotherapy is a treatment using biotechnology to convert viruses into cancer-fighting agents by reprogramming viruses to attack cancerous cells, while healthy cells remained relatively undamaged. Usually the viruses used are herpes simplex virus or Adenoviruses.
