Virgin Drinks is a subsidiary of the Virgin Group owned by Richard Branson. It markets soft drinks, including Virgin Cola, and alcoholic beverages including Virgin Vodka.
The company has previously also tried to market a range of beverages in the same functional energy class as Red Bull and Red Devil. These beverages were available in three different flavours (including Lemon and Lime) and were marketed in day-time versions (Virgin DT) and night-time versions (Virgin NT, a FAB with added vodka).
Virgin drink may also refer to normally alcoholic mixed drink, prepared without the alcohol. See for example Virgin Mary.
Virgin Drinks is based in Folkestone, Kent, United Kingdom.
Famous quotes containing the words virgin and/or drinks:
“Our own country furnishes antiquities as ancient and durable, and as useful, as any; rocks at least as well covered with lichens, and a soil which, if it is virgin, is but virgin mould, the very dust of nature. What if we cannot read Rome or Greece, Etruria or Carthage, or Egypt or Babylon, on these; are our cliffs bare?”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“This fellow mixes his metaphors the way a toper does his drinks and, I daresay, gets just as tipsy on them.”
—Angela Carter (19401992)
