Fictional Character Biography
Vindaloo was loyal to the Acolytes until his possible death on Genosha, which was destroyed by robots called the Sentinels. He was able to secrete chemicals which ignited on contact with air. Nothing of his past prior to joining the Acolytes has ever been revealed.
He did return during the X-Men: Messiah Complex event, as a former member of the Acolytes who were tracked down by the X-Men looking for information on the whereabouts of Exodus' newest incarnation of the team.

Famous quotes containing the words fictional, character and/or biography:
“It is change, continuing change, inevitable change, that is the dominant factor in society today. No sensible decision can be made any longer without taking into account not only the world as it is, but the world as it will be.... This, in turn, means that our statesmen, our businessmen, our everyman must take on a science fictional way of thinking.”
—Isaac Asimov (19201992)
“When trying a case [the famous judge] L. Cassius never failed to inquire Who gained by it? Mans character is such that no one undertakes crimes without hope of gain.”
—Marcus Tullius Cicero (10643 B.C.)
“As we approached the log house,... the projecting ends of the logs lapping over each other irregularly several feet at the corners gave it a very rich and picturesque look, far removed from the meanness of weather-boards. It was a very spacious, low building, about eighty feet long, with many large apartments ... a style of architecture not described by Vitruvius, I suspect, though possibly hinted at in the biography of Orpheus.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
