Viktor Rydbergs Gymnasium

Viktor Rydbergs Gymnasium

Viktor Rydberg Gymnasium is a group of three gymnasium (upper secondary schools) in Stockholm, Sweden named after the famous Swedish author Viktor Rydberg.

In August 1994, Gymnasium (school) was constructed in the halls of Djursholm Samskola’s eastern wing. Two parents, Louise Westerberg and Louise Andersson opened the school. The school specialises in preparing students for university studies in both Sweden and abroad. Over the years, four other schools now carry the name of the famous Swedish author in Stockholm. Aside from the original, there is one in Djursholm, one at Jarlaplan and one at Odenplan.

The Viktor Rydberg Gymnasiums are popular centres of learning with students attending from all over the greater Stockholm region. Two of the schools have the third and second highest grade-average in Sweden (source).
