Attendance
The school is the largest junior high in Alberta, with over 900 students at highest enrollment. In the 2006-2007 school year VB had over 900 students, but the amount was cut down due to applicants' giving false addresses to be in district boundaries, automatically being accepted into the school. Currently, there are over 880 students attending Vernon Barford. The 2007 Graduating class was the biggest class of grade nines with a total of over 300.
