Veria

Veria (officially transliterated as Veroia, Greek: Βέροια or Βέρροια; Hebrew: ברואה or וריה; French: Béroia or Bérée; German: Beröa; Bulgarian: Бер; Turkish: Karaferye), historically also spelled Berea, is a city in northern Greece, located 511 km (317 mi) north-northwest of the capital Athens and 73 km (45 mi) west-southwest of Thessalonica.
