Presently the institute is undergoing an accelerated growth phase through the World Bank funded Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (TEQIP). The IDP submitted by the college was awarded highest marks in the entire state of Andhra Pradesh. The college has been granted TIFAC centre of relevance and excellence in Telematics, granted by DST. The college is the first private Engineering College to serve this coveted project. The college has an awe-inspiring placement record with scores of companies visiting the institution recruiting hundreds of its products through their stringent selection procedures.
The college offers a conductive environment for research utilizing which the members of faculty have been pursuing active research producing large number of research publications and improving their qualifications. Many members of faculty have been guiding research scholars. The management has been encouraging the faculty to organize various research oriented seminars and conferences.
