VEE Corporation is a family entertainment production company headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota. It produces Sesame Street Live, a live touring stage show based on the television series. It has also produced stage shows based on Dragon Tales, The Muppets and Muppet Babies, Bear in the Big Blue House, Curious George, and Barney & Friends.
The first Sesame Street Live show opened in September 1980 at the Metropolitan Sports Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. That Christmas, the show went on to play for four weeks at Madison Square Garden in New York City before an audience of 100,000 people. The two shows has created a new attraction concept, and spawned much more live shows and tours.
In the past 30 years, VEE has created more than 100 unique Sesame Street Live productions that have played from coast to coast, Canada to Mexico, and over 30 countries around the globe.
VEE Production Services and Costumes & Creatures also provides entertainment, promotion and event marketing services for other brands through custom-designed shows, mascots and other promotional events.
