Vallapuzha
Vallapuzha is a village in Palakkad district in the state of Kerala, India. It's a village which is very near to Shoranur, Ottapalam, Pattambi and Cherpulasseri. One of the main attraction of this place is the famous Kuruvattur Shiva Temple. The moorthy here is believed to be Swayambhoo and hence attracts people from many parts of the State. It is a very peaceful residential area and people who live in Cities will feel the difference once they visit Vallapuzha Shoranur-Nilambur Railway Line passes through here. This place was part of old Nedunganad later on Zamoothiri of Calicut defeated Nedungadees and annexed it to his place and given control to his minister Tharakkal Varriar.
