Valery Fabrikant

Valery I. Fabrikant (born 28 January 1940 in Minsk, USSR), is a Belarusian émigré and former associate professor of mechanical engineering at Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. On 24 August 1992, he shot and killed four colleagues and wounded one staff member, after years of increasingly disruptive behaviour at the university.
