Shed Full of Locos
Vadodara has one of the largest electric loco sheds in Western Railway zone. The loco shed houses around 130+ locomotives which includes WAP-4, WAM-4, WAG-5 locomotives. Additionally it also has an AC electric trip shed to house locos coming from other sheds and an AC/DC dual loco trip shed which houses WCAM class locomotives from Valsad shed which caters locomotive change at Vadodara because the trains coming from New Delhi mainline are AC Locomotives and the trains going to Mumbai need AC/DC Loco. as Mumbai is under DC supply from before Borivali.
IT also has a MEMU car shed which houses the Mainline Electric Multiple units which provides feeder services to Ahmedabad, Surat, Dahod and Godhra.

Famous quotes containing the words shed and/or full:
“Frequently also some fair-weather finery ripped off a vessel by a storm near the coast was nailed up against an outhouse. I saw fastened to a shed near the lighthouse a long new sign with the words ANGLO SAXON on it in large gilt letters, as if it were a useless part which the ship could afford to lose, or which the sailors had discharged at the same time with the pilot. But it interested somewhat as if it had been a part of the Argo, clipped off in passing through the Symplegades.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“Plantin and readin, plantin and readin. Fill a man full of lead, stick em in the ground, and then read words on em. Why when ya killed a man, why try to read the Lord in as a partner on the job.”
—Borden Chase [Frank Fowler] (19001971)
