National Teams: The Eagles
USA Rugby is responsible for organizing the various US national teams:
- United States national rugby union team - plays in the Rugby World Cup.
- United States national rugby union team (sevens) - plays in the IRB Sevens World Series, Pan Am Games, and beginning in 2016 at the Summer Olympics. Several players on this time are under full-time contract to play for the US national sevens team.
- United States national under-20 rugby union team - plays in the IRB Junior World Championship and the IRB Junior World Rugby Trophy.
